The Hawthorn Medical Centre has earned gold status for its cardiac catheter laboratory from the Canadian Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation.
This is the first time that the centre has received this recognition, which is given to facilities that meet or exceed industry standards for safety, quality and care.

The lab is equipped with the latest technology, including a state-of-the-art digital x-ray system and a dedicated cardiac computed tomography (CT) scanner.
